Hidden gem beach with beautiful walking path, cafés and country park

Liverpool Echo have done a lovely write up talking all about Thurstaston beach – our hidden gem!

“While people travel all over the region for Crosby and Formby beaches, Thurstaston is a hidden gem primarily used by Wirral locals. The beautiful stretch of land sits on the Dee Estuary shoreline, looking toward Wales and the Clwydian Hills with phenomenal views you won’t find anywhere else.

The sand and shingle beach lies below clay cliffs and remains unspoilt from eye sores or mass footfall. On good days, you can watch the Dee Sailing Club riding the waves. You can even join the team if you own a boat yourself. If you prefer to remain on land, the shore is the ideal spot for barbecues, picnics and reading.”
